Jaipur
Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, the capitalof Rajasthan was founded in 1727 AD by king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities - and repainted in 1876.
Jaisalmer
The name JAISALMER evokes a vivid picture of sheer magic and brilliance of the desert. The hostile terrain not with standing the warmth and colour of people is simply over whelming.And you can let your eyes caress the sloppy sand dunes while you ramble your way in a camel safari.
   
Udaipur
Udaipur is known as the Venice of the east. It is also called the city of lakes. The Lake Palace on Jag Niwas Island in the middle of Pichola Lakes is the finest example of its architectural and cultural explosion. Udaipur is also the centre for performing arts, craft and its famed miniature paintings.
Jophpur
Jodhpur is also called as the "Sun City". Jodhpur stands at the edge of the Thar Desert & was citadel of the ancient Marwar kingdom.This bustling desert city is the second largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur and has landscape dominated by the massiveMeherangarh Fort topping a sheer rocky ridge.
   
Ajmer
The city of Ajmer is primarily known for the tomb of the 13th century Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti. Ajmer lies in the northwestern part of India, On one side it has the Ana Sagar lake and the Arvalli range on the other. It is 130kms from Jaipur.
Bikaner
Lying in the north of the desert state, the city is dotted with scores of sand dunes. Bikaner retains the medieval grandeur thatpermeates the city's lifestyle. More readily called the camel country the city is distinguished for the best riding camels in the world.
   
Pushkar
355 km southwest of Delhi lies the holy small town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan. The sacred lake, which is the major attraction of Pushkar, is visited by the Hindu pilgrims in multitude. The town of Pushkar has the unique distinction of being home to the temple dedicated to Brahma.
Ranthambore

Barmer
Barmer is situated about 224 kms from Jodhpur. Located atop a hill, Barmer houses the remains of an old fort called Garh right on its peak. The town has derived its name from its 13th century founder Bahada Rao or Bar Rao. Initially called 'Bahada-mer', the name was later shortened to Barmer.

Bundi
Surrounded by Aravalli hills on three sides and circumscribed by a massive wall with four gateways is the city of Bundi that is known for having a glorious past and a promising future. Historical monuments, natural beauty, scenic dams & ponds, wild forests fairs and festivity are what symbolize life at this colorful city of Rajasthan.
   
Chittorgarh
Chittorgarh has been a witness to some of the bloodiest battles fought on Indian soil. The city itself was ravaged thrice staring with Alauddin Khilji's attack in 1303 AD followed Bahadur Shah in 1533 AD. Mughal Emperor Akbar attacked the city for a third time and razed the Chittorgarh fort to the ground. The fort was never inhabited after that attack.
Dholpur
The brave rulers of Dholpur always did their best to resist every attempt to subjugate them, however, the city regularly suffered at the hands of the invading forces. From Sikander Lodi in 1501 AD to Babur in 1526 AD, Dholpur was repeatedly attacked by neighboring kings and was almost razed to the ground.

   
Bhilwara
An industrial city, Bhilwara came to be called so because it had a huge majority of Bhil inhabitants. However, these Bhils were driven away by peasants. Ironically, very few Bhils live in Bhilwara now. Bhilwara reportedly had a mint where coins known as 'Bhiladi' were minted and thus came the name of the city.
Dungapur
Rawal Veer Singh founded Dungarpur in the year 1282 AD after taking over from Bhil tribal Chief, Dungaria. Dungarpur is situated in the foothills of Aravallis and has a varied terrain ranging from wild and rugged to fertile plains of alluvial soil.

   
Karauli
The holy city of Karauli is located at a distance of 160 kms from the capital city of Jaipur. The city of Karauli was earlier known as Kalyanpuri, the name given after the local deity Kalyanji. The city of Karauli was established keeping in mind the danger of frequent attacks. Therefore the city was fully equipped with arms and was surrounded by a wall made up of red sandstone with citadels at various places.
Bharatpur
Maharaja Suraj Mal founded the city of Bharatpur in 1733 AD. Once an unassailable and well-equipped city, it was carved out of the region previously known as Mewat. Suraj Mal seized the fort of Bharatpur from Khemkaran, the rival chief. Even in the time of political crisis, Suraj Mal made a name and position for himself and went from one accomplishment to another.
