Day to Day Itinerary
 

DAY 01- DELHI
Arrive at New Delhi airport and over night at hotel

DAY 02 - DELHI-SIKANDRA-AGRA(240 K.M. 05.00 HRS)
After breakfast, transfer to Agra via visiting Akbar's tomb at Sikandra. Check in at hotel . Evening visit Taj Mahal for a sunset view. Overnight at Agra.

DAY 02 - AGRA-FATEHPUR SIKRI-BHARATPUR(80 K.M. 02.30 HRS)
At morning, sightseeing of Taj Mahal & Fort and continue drive to Bharatpur via visiting Fatehpur Sikri .Overnight at hotel Laxmi Vilas Palace.

DAY 04 - BHARATPUR-KARAULI(100 K.M. 02.30 HRS)
At morning, visit Keoladeo National Bird Sanctuary .Drive to Khanwa/Bayana to visit the battlefield [Battle between Rana Sanga and Babur]. Continue drive to Karauli.Overnight at Bhanwar Vilas Palace, the residence of Maharaja of Karauli now a heritage hotel.

At morning, visit to Old Palace of Karauli and Temple of Madan Mohan Ji. After lunch drive to Rantahmbore. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel Tiger Den or similar.

DAY 06 - RANTHAMBHORE
Early morning, visit the Ranthambore Tiger Project by canter / Jeep . After breakfast, visit the Fort [the battlefield of battle between Raja Hamir Deo and Alluddin khilji & Emperor Akbar and the Rajput King in 1569] and the Ganesh temple and the cenotaphs at Rani ki Baori. Overnight at hotel.


DAY 07- RANTHAMBHORE-BUNDI-KOTA (175 K.M. 04.30 HRS)
After breakfast, leave for Kota via visiting Bundi, famous for its miniature paintings, the finest in Rajasthan. See the Chorasi Khambo ki Chatri [Cenotaphs], Sukh Niwas [where Rudyard Kipling stayed]. also visit the battle field of the battle between Kotia Bhil and Rao Deva. Overnight at Hotel Brijraj Bhawan Palace / Umaid Bhawan Palace, the present residence of Maharaja of Kota .

DAY 08 -KOTA - BASSI(100 K.M. 02.30 HRS)

At morning, sightseeing of Kota.visit City Palace, Umaid Bhawan (once a British Residency) Brijraj Bhawan(Designed by Sir Swinton Jacob. Today a hotel)and Jagmandir a small islet(Battle between Rao Madho Singh & Prince Aurenzeb) Rao Madho Singh lost five of his six sons. Kota was menaced over the centuries by Mughals, Jaipur forces, Mewar and Maratha warlords and even their cousins.During the great uprising of 1857, Kota was one of the few states of Rajaputana where Indian troops rebelled.
After sightseeing drive to Bassi. Overnight Bassi fort.

DAY 09 - BASSI - CHITTORGARH - UDAIPUR (175 K.M. 05.00 HRS)
After breakfast, depart for S/S of Chittor Fort (Battlefields of battles between the Ranas of Chittorgarh and Allauddin Khilji, Sultan Bahadur Shah of Gujarat and emperor Akbar]. During the visit to the fort, also see - Rana Kumbha's Palace, Victory Tower, Palace of Rani Padmini, Tower of fame(12th century), Palace of Patta and Jaimal who defended Chittorgarh. Then drive to Udaipur . Overnight at hotel
Optional :- Visit the Patan Dam for bird watching.

DAY 11 - UDAIPUR - KUMBHALGARH (100 K.M. 03.00 HRS)
At morning, drive to Kumbhal Garh. Visit Haldighati(Gogunda) - the most famous battlefield of Rajputana where the most famous battle was fought in 1576 between Rana Pratap and the Imperial Forces of Emperor Akbar. Night stay at Kumbhal Garh Fort again a battle field of battle between Shahbaj Khan [a General of Akabar] & Rana Pratap. Overnight at hotel Kumbhalgarh fort / The Aodhi .

DAY 12 - KUMBHALGARH - RANAKPUR - JODHPUR (300 K.M. 07.00 HRS)
Drive to Jodhpur via visiting the world famous Jain temples of Ranakpur and lunch at Maharani Bagh. Night stay at 5* hotel or similar .

DAY 13 - JODHPUR
At morning, sightseeing of Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant thada. After lunch, sightseeing of Mandore gardens,temple complex and Royal Cenotaphs. Night stay at Jodhpur .

DAY 14 - JODHPUR - NAGAUR(140 K.M. 02.30 HRS)

After breakfast, drive to Nagaur Fort - where the battle between the forces of Rathore's of Jodhpur & Akbar's Mughal forces was fought. The fort was seized by the forces of Emperor Akbar in 1561A.D. Night stay at SWISS tents within the Fort premises .

DAY 15 - NAGAUR - PUSHKAR (140 K.M. 02.30 HRS)

Night stay at Hotel Pushkar Palace or similar.

DAY 16 - PUSHKAR - AJMER - KUCHAMAN (110 K.M. 2.30 HRS)

AM sightseeing of Ajmer - the Adai din ka Jhopra, Dargah of Salim Chisti [ India's Mecca ] and the Jain temples. After sightseeing of Ajmer, continue drive to Kuchman enroute having lunch at Phool Bagh Palace at Kishangarh. Overnight at Kuchaman Fort, a magnificent hill fort recently opened for the tourists.

DAY 17 - KUCHAMAN - SAMBHAR - JAIPUR (175 K.M. 04.00 HRS)
At morning, drive to Jaipur via Sambhar, the largest inland salt lake of the world, which in the winters is flocked by Flamingos, Rosy Pelicans and many other rare species of migratory birds. Overnight at 5* or similar hotel . Dinner hosted by Royal Rajasthan Tour, Jaipur at Chokhi Dhnai .

DAY 18 - JAIPUR - SAMODE - JAIPUR
In the morning do S/S of Amber [with elephant ride] In the afternoon day return excursion to Samode. Lunch and camel ride at Maharaja Palace.

DAY 19 - JAIPUR
At morning, S/S of City Palace and observatory and then stroll through the bazaars. In the afternoon, sightseeing of Nahargarh/ Tiger fort for panoramic view of Jaipur city .

DAY 20 - JAIPUR - MADHOGARH (80 K.M. 01.30 K.M.)
After breakfast, drive to Madhogarh and check in at hotel Madhogarh fort. At evening visit Tunga [the battlefield of war between Madhoji Scindia and Maharaja Pratap Singh of Jaipur on 28 th July 1787. Have lunch at Madhogarh Fort , which was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh Ji for campaign against the Marathas. The fort overlooks the battlefield of Tunga. Overnight at Fort Madhogarh.

DAY 21 - MADHOGRAH - VIRATNAGAR - DELHI ( 200 K.M. 05.00 HRS)
After B/F drive to Delhi via visiting Virat nagar, the place where the Pandav's stayed during the exile. and continue drive to Delhi. Overnight at 5* hotel or similar .

DAY 22 - DELHI
Sightseeing of Old Delhi and Raj Ghat and late night transfer to International airport to connect flight for onwards journey .
